We are currently looking for manager trainees. This is an entry level management opportunity. Manager trainees spend 6-8 months completing our management training program, and learning the carwash business from the ground up. At the end of this training period they become an assistant manager at one of our locations.
Schedule. Our managers also work a very typical retail management schedule:
- Five-day, 50-hour work weeks.
- Family-friendly work schedule with considerable weekend time off (when training level is attained).
- Two or three nights each week (usually 11:30 a.m. - 10 p.m.).
When someone becomes an assistant manager, their next goal is to get their own location. At this point, advancement is based on one thing—performance. We strongly believe in promoting people based on merit. The most qualified person gets the promotion, no matter how long they’ve been with our company.

As a Saginaw Express manager, you’ll be expected to lead by example, and to set the pace for all your associates. You’ll be on your feet, staying busy, and leading the charge at all times. - You’ll keep things running smoothly.
Saginaw Express’ computer-controlled equipment is the most advanced in the industry, so part of your day will be spent taking care of it. You’ll be fully prepared to do daily inspections, troubleshooting, quality control and maintenance. You don’t have to be a certified mechanic to work here, but it is necessary that you’re mechanically inclined.

As a Saginaw Express Car Wash manager, you will be in charge of administrative duties as well, including such things as: record-keeping, making deposits, ordering supplies, hiring, training and scheduling employees and completing reports. We believe your time is best spent with customers and crew, so we’ve done everything to streamline your duties at the desk.
At Saginaw Express Car Wash, our product is a clean, dry, shiny vehicle. And in order to ensure that’s what our customers receive each and every time, quality control is critical. Our special detergents and water have to work together with just the right chemistry. So you’ll be spending part of each day making sure they do.
